Three Client Projects With Measurable Outcomes

We keep saying that we start every project by understanding the business, and that the software comes second. Rather than argue the point, here are three projects where that pattern produced numbers worth reading.

Vandeni results illustration.

1. A Freight Company That Couldn’t Process Its Invoices Fast Enough

A regional freight company was processing 2,000+ invoices a month by hand. Three finance staff spent most of their time on data entry, the error rate sat around 6%, and the whole department was dependent on one long-serving employee.

We built a custom automation pipeline: OCR, machine-learning classification, and a middleware layer that talked to their aging ERP without an upgrade. The result: processing time down 68%, data entry errors down 87%, and $210,000 a year in staff time returned to work that needs human judgment. Read the full case study.

2. A Clinic Network That Wanted a Patient App Without the $500K Price Tag

Twelve private clinics ran appointments on phone calls, paper forms, and a portal from 2009. Enterprise vendors quoted $180K–$320K a year in licensing; none would confirm HIPAA compliance for mobile.

We built a HIPAA-compliant cross-platform app integrated with their existing EHR. 3,200 patients registered in the first month, no-shows dropped 43%, and paper intake forms were eliminated across all twelve clinics. Read the full case study.

3. A Manufacturer Burned by Failed Technology Projects

A 300-person manufacturer had been burned twice, by a cancelled ERP project and a 200-page report that sat in a drawer. Their requirement: don’t disrupt the production line.

We embedded with the team for six weeks, mapped 22 manual processes, and phased the work so nothing went live until staff were trained and confident. Year-one savings: $380,000, with 14 of 22 manual processes eliminated. Read the full case study.

The Pattern

Three different industries, three different problems, one pattern: understand the business first, prove the outcome second. If you’d like to see what that pattern could do for your business, book a discovery call.
